Beach Powerboat Rescue 911
This is really spectacular! In open rubber boats with lots of horsepower we will wrestle with the waves. And how! We will welcome you in the yacht club in Scheveningen.
Our instructors will brief you on the event and what to expect. Put on your life jackets and watersuits, away with the lines and listen to the engines rev.
We will cruise slowly out of the harbor. Once out at sea the power is unleashed, hang on!
If that is not enough, with the survival suits on we will simulate a man over board situation (volunteers), how will you save yourself or your teammate? Our instructors will give you a demonstration.
Depending on group size we have several Ribs (rubber boats) which we can use. The event is on a rotation basis. Together with the ribs there will be a larger motorboat accompanying you. From this boat you can watch the other teams go through their paces while enjoying a refreshment. Your turn is next!
Note: The team assignments will be on a rotation basis. Points will be scored and times clocked to arrive at an end score. THe waiting team can watch the other teams progress from the harbor. or the motorboat, since the assignments follow in quick succession the wait is not long.
